NIFTY DAILY DERIVATIVE ANALYSIS FOR TODAY

F&O NEWS

India Indices- Monday Nifty Index opened -12.60 points down at -6264.35 in Negative from the previous closing at 6276.95 and closed in negative at -6221.45. In the opening of the market Nifty traded with buying pressure in positive trend and made a day high of 6277.75 near 10 o’ clock but after 12.00 o’clock nifty traded with selling pressure and made a day low of 6212.25 near 2 o’ clock after that we saw some recovery and positive trend but Nifty Index could not traded at its previous level and closed in Negative. At the end Nifty index closed in negative above our 1^st support 6200 at -6221.45 and near to our pivot with -0.88%, -55.50 points down from the previous day closing 6276.95 and the full day Nifty Index traded between 6277.75-6212.25. At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.79%, -49.80 points down to close at -6235.20 from the previous day closing at 6289.25 with the premium of +18.00 points and percent change in open interest of -1.84%.

Bank Nifty – Monday Bank Nifty Index opened -59.25 points down at -10705.45 in negative from the previous closing at 10764.70 and closed in Negative at -10651.95. In the opening of the market Bank nifty index opened in negative but we saw hyper buying in bank nifty index and it made a day high of 10836.20 near 10 o’ clock but after the opening we saw selling pressure in bank nifty index and the full day bank nifty traded with selling pressure and could not traded at its previous level and the full day bank nifty index traded between 10836.20-10613.00. At the end Bank nifty index closed in negative at -10651.95 with -1.05%, -112.75 points down from the previous day closing at 10764.70. At the end of the day Bank Nifty Futures Loosed -1.32%, -142.05 points down to close at -10640.00 from the previous closing at 10782.05 with the premium of 5.50 points and percent change in open interest of -6.92%.

FII’s Activity– According to FII’s Activity On February 26 in F&O segment we saw FII’s were taking interest to create position in index futures and index options only we saw hyper buying and selling in Index Options and short positioning in stock futures.

Nifty Futures- Monday Nifty opened -9.25 points down at -6280.00 in negative from the previous closing at 6289.25 and closed in negative at -6235.20. In the opening of the market Nifty traded with buying pressure and traded with the day high of 6292.90 but after that we saw hyper selling pressure with down trend and nifty made a day low of 6228.00 near the closing of the market and the full day Nifty futures traded between 6292.90-6228.00. At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.79%, -49.80 points down to close at -6239.45 from the previous day closing at 6289.25 with the premium of +18.00 points and percent change in open interest of -1.84%.

India Vix- India Vix closed at +15.28 from the previous day closing at 14.18 with increase in +7.76%,

MARKET HEADLINES

Yen gains on emerging nerves, Swedish crown jumps after GDP

A weakening Chinese yuan and tensions in Ukraine drove investors into the relative safety of the Japanese yen on Friday while shockingly strong Swedish growth numbers propelled the crown higher.

The yen gained around a third of a percent against both the dollar and euro , the latter still looking shaky before inflation numbers which may set the tone for next week's meeting of European Central Bank policymakers.

The moves put the yen, last year's major loser among the world's most traded currencies, within sight of resistance at 101.50 and beyond that levels around 100.50 which are its strongest since November.

"Clearly with what's happening in emerging markets, the yen is fulfilling its traditional role as a safe haven," said Neil Mellor, strategist with Bank of New York Mellon in London.

"The other side of that is that people are clearly using it to wind up the speculative trade we saw last year."

Dollar falls below 102 yen on US stimulus speculation

The dollar fell below 102 yen in Asia on Friday on speculation that the Federal Reserve could shift its tapering policy if recent weak data is a sign of a fundamental change in growth.

The dollar slipped to 101.60 yen in Tokyo afternoon trade from 102.15 yen in New York Thursday afternoon.

The euro bought 139.20 against 140.05 yen while sitting at $1.3697 compared with $1.3710.

Fed chief Janet Yellen told the Senate Banking Committee that policymakers believe severe weather was behind some of the disappointing numbers of the past two months on job creation, industrial production and consumption.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The BSE benchmark index Sensex rose for the fourth day today ending 134.52 points higher at 20,986.99 on buying in bluechips led by GAIL, ITCBSE 2.07 % and InfosysBSE 0.56 %.
Buying by investors to cover their pending positions on settlement in the derivatives segment helped the barometer touch 21,000 level in day trade after a gap of over one month. The index gained 316 points in the previous three sessions.
The broad-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty rose by 38.75 points, or 0.62 per cent, to 6,238.80 led by FMCG and capital goods stocks.
Among Sensex stocks, GailBSE 2.97 % was the biggest gainer rising by 2.97 per cent. FMCG major ITC jumped 2.07 per cent, HDFCBSE 0.99 % by about 1 per cent and Mahindra & Mahindra by 2 per cent. WiproBSE 1.38 % touched its 52-week high before closing up by 1.38 per cent.
On the other hand, SesaBSE -2.62 % Sterlite and Tata SteelBSE -3.23 % were among the biggest losers with losses of up to 3.23 per cent.
