WEEKLY NIFTY DERIVATIVE MARKET ANALYSIS AND REPORT


CNX NIFTY
In the weekly chart of Nifty Futures, we saw much buying in Nifty index and Nifty Futures, In the weekly chart of Nifty we can see continuous up trend from past weeks, In the weekly chart Nifty Futures took a support of 21 day’s moving average of 6370.00 and from there we saw bullishness in Nifty Index, in the opening of the week we saw selling in Nifty and Nifty futures traded with the weekly low of 6696.85.00 but near the end of the week Nifty recovered and made a Life time high of 6861.25 in which we saw top weekly gained in SUNPHARMA with +9.85%, +56.35 Rs Changes, and NMDC with 7.59%, +10.65 Rs change and we saw top weekly Loosed in JINDAL STEEL with -6.49%, -19.45 Rs change, and TECHM with -4.06%, -73.55 Rs change. In the Last weekly chart Nifty made a positive Spinning top and on this behalf we can go for buying in Nifty for the weekly target of 7000.00.

In the weekly chart of Bank Nifty Futures, we saw much volatility with uptrend in bank Nifty Futures and Bank nifty Index Last week we saw more buying in Bank Nifty index and Bank Nifty futures and closed at positive. In the opening of the week we saw selling and Bank Nifty made a weekly low of 12524.85 but at the end of the week Bank Nifty recovered with buying pressure and traded with the weekly high of 13142.40 and closed with +247.65 points up from the previous week closing in which we saw weekly Gained in KOTAK BANK with +6.69%, +50.55 Rs change and STATE BANK with +4.80%,+91.35 Rs change and weekly Loosed in INDUSIND BANK with -2.14%, -10.70 Rs change. At the end of the week Bank Nifty Futures closed positive at 12907.45 with +2.00%, +247.65 points up from the previous week closing at 12659.80.On this behalf we can see more buying in Bank Nifty futures with the weekly target of 13500.00.

From the past weekly chart of CNX IT index we had seen down trend with hyper selling pressure, Middle of the week we saw much selling pressure in IT index but at the end of the week on Friday market we saw bullish trend in CNXIT index and CNXIT futures but it could not sustain at its previous level and closed in Negative at 9358.15 with -0.90% change from the previous week closing at 9446.65 in which we saw hyper selling in TECHM with -4.06%, -73.55 Rs change and INFOSYS with -2.44%, -80.90 Rs change and last week we saw normal buying in WIPRO with +2.66%, +14.70 Rs change, and TCS +1.18%, +25.25 Rs change. At the end of the week CNXIT Futures closed down at 9358.15 with the weekly high of 9459.00 and with the weekly low of 9132.00 and closed at with -0.90%, -88.50 points down from previous week closing at 9446.65.

Gold held onto gains on Monday following its biggest one-day jump in over three weeks as investor worries about an early US interest rate hike eased when the nonfarm payrolls report failed to meet market expectations.

Data on Friday showed that US non-farm payrolls increased by 192,000 jobs last month, slightly below economists' estimate of 200,000.

Markets feared that a strong jobs report, which followed a recent string of good economic data, could prompt a tightening of US monetary policy after Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen indicated last month that interest rates could rise in the first half of 2015.

Low interest rates, which cut the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding bullion above other assets, had been an important factor driving bullion higher in recent years. Spot gold was steady at $1,302.36 an ounce by 0349 GMT, after gaining 1.2 percent on Friday - its biggest percentage increase since March 12. The metal wasn't too far from a one-week high of $1,306.50 hit in the previous session.

LEAD

Lead futures prices today rose by 0.20 per cent, to Rs 123.60 per kg after speculators enlarged positions amid rising spot demand.

However, metal's weakness at the London Metal Exchange (LME) also, limited the gains.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in April traded 25 paise, or 0.20 per cent, higher at Rs 123.60 per kg, with a turnover of 681 lots.

The metal for delivery in May also rose by 10 paise, or 0.08 per cent, to trade at Rs 124.65 per kg, in a business turnover of 19 lots.

NICKEL

Nickel prices moved up by 0.28 per cent to Rs 986.80 per kg in futures market today as speculators enlarged their positions, tracking a firming trend in spot market on increased demand from alloy-makers even as metal weakened overseas.
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in April gained Rs 2.80, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 986.80 per kg in business turnover of 1,616 lots. Similarly, the metal for delivery in May rose by Rs 2.70, or 0.27 per cent, to Rs 993.30 per kg in 58 lots.

DAILY DERIVATIVE REPORT FOR 09/APRIL/2014


F&O NEWS

India Indices- Monday Nifty Index opened -0.10 points down at 6694.25 in negative from the previous closing at 6694.35 and closed in positive at 6695.05. In the opening of the market Nifty opened at 6694.25 and made a day high of 6725.15 and from there we saw hyper selling in Nifty and it traded with the day low of 6650.40 near 12.30 o’clock after that we saw some recovery in nifty with normal buying but it could not sustained at its previous, at the end of the market nifty closed flat at 6695.05 near to our pivot level 6690.00 with +0.01%, +0.70 points up from the previous day closing 6694.35 and the full day Nifty Index traded between 6725.15-6650.40. At the end of the day Nifty futures Loosed -0.10%, -6.50 points down to close at 6737.70 from the previous day closing at 6744.20 with the premium of 42.65 points and percent change in open interest of +4.55%

Bank Nifty – Monday Bank Nifty Index opened +10.65 points up at 12562.35 in positive from the previous closing 12551.70 and closed in negative at 12506.45. In the opening of the market bank nifty opened with +10.65 points up and traded with the day high of 12615.35 and from there we saw continuous selling in Bank nifty and it made a day low of 12439.55 near 12.30o’clock after that Bank Nifty moved up with normal buying but it could not sustained at its previous level and closed in negative at 12506.45 with -0.36%, -45.25 points down from the previous day closing 12551.70. At the end of the market Bank Nifty Futures Loosed -0.49%, -61.80 points down to close at 12598.00 from the previous closing at 12659.80 with the premium of 153.35 points and percent change in open interest of +4.85%.  

FII’s Activity– According to FII’s Activity On April 03,2014 in F&O segment we saw FII’s were taking interest to create normal buying position in index options , we saw hyper buying and selling in index options and stock futures.
